ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Andrew Evans, CISSP
Andrew Evans grew up in Abilene, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2016. Although his undergraduate degree was in Entomology, Andrew always had a passion for technology, and ultimately decided to hunt for different kinds of bugs. In early 2021, Andrew passed his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam. Earning the CISSP proves you have what it takes to effectively design, implement, and manage a best-in-class cybersecurity program. It is widely accepted as the gold standard certification in the cybersecurity field. In his free time Andrew is pursuing pentesting certification through a partnership with Offensive Security. His wife, a pharmacist, and Andrew also like spending time with their 200lb English Mastiff and 130lb Great Dane.
