Bridgehead IT is more than just a full-service technology firm. We live and work in the greater San Antonio area, from Boerne to New Braunfels our team members support our communities.
Despite a portion of our workforce working across the United States to serve clients nationally and internationally, we’re connected to our Texas roots.
September 29th, 2022 – Bridgehead IT attended the Workforce Solutions Alamo event for their High School to Careers Program at the Region 20 Education Center. This program supports youth ages 16-24 by providing them career exploration and understanding in high-demand industries. Andrew Evans, Senior Cyber Security Analyst for Bridgehead IT, spoke alongside other professionals on a technology panel. Local high school students who attended this discussion were able to gain insight and ask questions.
By mentoring our city’s youth we can create meaningful pathways into technology sector employment. An industry that currently faces a shortage of talent ready-to-hire.
August 20th, 2022 – Bridgehead IT was honored to support Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas as they inspired hope at their Wishes Under The Stars event. Hosted at the Witte Museum, this inaugural event in San Antonio celebrated the strength of Wish-kids and their families.
Helping children find hope despite their challenging circumstances provides a wellspring of strength to keep fighting for better days. In August of 2022, Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas granted 26 life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. Empowering wishes allows families to reclaim normalcy and children to reclaim their childhood. These wishes would not be possible without the support of community partners. We’re humbled to be a part of making that happen alongside our San Antonio community.
August 20th, 2022 – Any Baby Can was born 40 years ago with the mission to serve families and children facing serious health or developmental challenges. This year has presented addition challenges in the midst of a formula shortage.
Bridgehead IT answered the call to support Any Baby Can at their Angel Affair after a two year event hiatus due to the pandemic. The funds raised at the 2022 Angel Affair, hosted at the Tobin Center, provide critical support to children and families. In addition to providing infant formula, they also offer Autism Services, Social Skills classes, and an Infant and Child Loss Center for grieving families.
June 22nd, 2022 – The Bridgehead IT team supported HearstLab’s first-ever pitch competition to fund women-led startups in San Antonio.
Bridgehead IT is happy to elevate female-led technology within San Antonio. Six finalists from a pool of 140+ female founded startups shared their vision and business plan to a riveted audience. Three rose to the top and were awarded 100k and three months of mentoring from HearstLab and the San Antonio Express-News. Bridgehead IT alongside CPS Energy were proud to sponsor this exciting event.

April 28th, 2022 – Bridgehead IT had a wonderful time at the YMCA Roberts Ranch Game Dinner out in beautiful Comfort, TX.
In the late 1990’s Roberts Ranch was generously donated to the Y by the late Bob Roberts of Comfort. For years, it has served hundreds of children through an outdoor education program sponsored by Texas Parks and Wildlife. Now, the YMCA of San Antonio is hoping to greatly increase the number of children and families served at the ranch through new programming intended to fulfill Mr. Roberts’ vision.
By supporting our community, we’re investing in the future. We rise by lifting others!
April 9th, 2022 – At the close of Fiesta 2022, Bridgehead IT celebrated by giving back to the community. Through volunteer efforts with Habitat for Humanity, our team was able to witness the dedication of 18 newly built houses to families.
Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio alongside volunteers and hard working families help to build modest, decent, and affordable homes. After over 300 hours of sweat equity, families from San Antonio attended the House Dedication ceremony where they were able to say a few words about what this opportunity meant to them. Homeownership not only elevates communities, it benefits children and their families.
March 30th, 2022 – Bridgehead IT is proud to support #BioFestInvest2022 and attended this event in the beautiful Skyroom at the University of Incarnate Word.
BioFest Invest is an annual spring event that brings together potential investors from across the nation and Texas bioscience companies seeking investment funding, while sharing best practices, connections, and valuable advice. As a BioMedSA member, Bridgehead IT realizes that by working together the entire healthcare and bioscience industry can grow as a whole.
March 25th, 2022 – Bridgehead IT supports the Blue Skies of Texas 28th annual Play for Freedom. All proceeds benefit Freedom House, Alzheimer’s Care, and Research Center at Blue Skies of Texas.
The Freedom House at Blue Skies of Texas (formerly known as Air Force Village) provides memory care for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Blue Skies holds the distinct honor of CARF-CCAC accreditation, a hallmark of quality. Only 17% of communities across the United States have earned this recognition, and they’re the only one in Texas to have done so.

March 4th, 2022 – Bridgehead IT appreciates the opportunity to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio’s Youth of the Year Gala. The services they offer to our San Antonio community is essential to providing young people with opportunities to excel.
During this event, five Youth of the Year finalists, ages 16-18, present their personal stories of triumph in the face of adversity for a chance to win college scholarships and advance to the state competition. When we support San Antonio’s youth, we are investing in the future of our city.
February 17th, 2022 – Thank you to The Children’s Shelter for hosting such a great event this evening at The San Antonio Country Club. All proceeds from the “Pour Your Heart Into It”, benefit the kids and young people in our community without a family support system.
Bridgehead IT is committed to providing funding through sponsorships and donations directly to organizations like The Children’s Shelter. They deliver compassionate trauma-informed care to children and families impacted by or at-risk of abuse and neglect. Together we can protect children and support families who need assistance.
